at present mainly ppl from distant suburbs like BHEL, Falaknuma etc use it to get to n from city (esp secbad, nampally, airport). its not yet that popular for city folks to use it to get to work in places like Hitech City. this is mainly due to lack of connectivity from the distant stations. once this is rectified it'll be better used.

the hi-tech city station on the MMTS is a sight. well on a joy ride on the MMTS i decided to get off at Hi-tech city station. and all i was greeeted was with a huge slum and the cyber towers on the horizon quite a distance away. the path being a cross country category. when asked how i would have to go the cyber towers i was told to take a bus to lingampally and then come back to cyber towers. beat that ;). though there were these really nice rocks over there which were fun to climb onto.

my friend had a similar experience. he came to hitech city stn to get to cyber towers. when he reached the stn he saw the pointlessness :D he then waited 45 minutes for the next train to Lingampally and got down at the next station and took a rick to Cyber Towers

now the govt is planning to finish the connecting roads and run a few busses too. once all that comes up, i wudn't mind taking the train to work!
