A friend of mine wants to get married. He\'s \'looking for\' love. Why don\'t people just let things be? \'Someone, somewhere, is made for u\' right? (No, I don\'t belong to the Yash Chopra family!)And you\'ll find him/her if you have to, isn\'t it? Or is the whole thought process idealistic?

Its a very \"novel\" thought about the whole \"wait for your love to come to you, someone somewhere is made for u, or happily ever after,\" but in this day and age, does that really work? Not only in this day and age, but any day and age? We are very practical beings, before we fall for someone, we think if they have a proper education, a decent paying job, his/her family, but I don\'t see a rich, educated girl falling for an uneducated, pauper who runs the corner store, like we do in the movies. I think our media plays a bigger role in what we think about Love than we do ourselves. You actually think, in a world made of billions of people..only 1 person is right for you? I don\'t think so, its all about which person you meet first

If you are compatible w/someone and you have enough feelings for him/her, u should go for it! I mean, rest of our lives, we look and grab everything first (our education, our jobs, our opportunities, so why not look and grab love too? Why do we have to wait for it to happen? Do we wait for everything else in our lives to happen? In that case, we wouldnt most probably get everything we want, because someone else would take it before u do. So, Whats so wrong abt grabbing love? Why does that make it so immoral?) And, Is there anything called \"True Love?\" I mean, I agree there is definitely love, but what does that true infront mean? Anyone that loves you doesn\'t love u truly enough unless u use the word true infront of it? Just a thought!

Anywayz, Like I always say...If you can\'t get what you want, STEAL IT!!! lol (Its a different outlook on the whole \"If you can\'t get what u want, learn to like what u get.\") Or if you want something to happen, DO IT YOURSELF!

Love comes in many shapes and sizes. Some say love is blind, and some fall in love at first sight. Of course, it\'s not something that will be handed to you on a silver platter. But I do think love happens when you least expect it :-)

And if that\'s true, then no matter which nook and cranny you look into, you might not find it...

Love? bullshit. its all abt sex. even marriage is licence to sex. if u want to freak out, be so. and if u want to be an ascetic ....just be. y do u want to worry abt society? u cant be annoyed by the society, unless u want to get annoyed. funda !! the (Indian) habit of discussing individuals/relationships should go.

yo interesting thoughts.. well what i feel is.... LOVE indeed happens without us grabbing it.. we need not grab it, if it was meant to happen, if some person is meant to be with u he will be with u under any circumstances. Everything is about destiny here, or more specifically SERENDIPITY.( if u ahvent seen that movie please do ...) Have u ever thought why we meet the persons we meet and not others..? i mean we meet someone unexpectedly at the same time and same place.... Those are the signs from our creators that we are meant to be together.. Not only love even ur friends just think about the number of friends u haev made who might be also ur best frnds now.. why did u have to banged into them at some place or at some occassion out of all present there.. so its all written for u up there Dudes and Dudettes.. and by this i dont say we cant chose ourselves.. but u will get signs in life about wats best for u.. its upto u to follow them or to ignore them..

Johnny....Deepu? Well, if that was true, some people would be together regardless of everything. How come some people can\'t seem to be together inspite of everything else? some situations are different from others....or maybe they just werent meant to be together, right?

Oh did i hear some one call me Deepu..? anyways.. yea true if some people are not meant to be together in the first place chances are they wont be... and regarding the signs thing.. even if someone have signs in front of them they need time to realise it.. one cant say they r ignoring.. one shud always give them time... cuz one partner realises soon doesnt mean the other one also.. love doesnt start simultaneaously...

yes yes, I called u deepu..happy? For some people, a certain name/place/thing means something more than its literal meaning, maybe I have been too harsh. Some people are stuck together even if they are not meant to be together, what about all the marriages that go sour? or the abusive relationships? Were they meant to be too? That would make some people very unlucky, wouldnt it? Time is a very tricky word, mostly used as an excuse to prolong something rather than cutting something at the nip when they realise that its not meant to be. Rather let it go than lead the other person on, right? Signs are meant to be acknowledged, doesnt necessarily mean people have to act upon it right away. And doesnt necessarily have to start or lead to love.

I reckon that we should allow love to come to us and grab it when the opportunity knocks. There is more to love than what is in sex. People do link sex with love when it is not a true love.
