The Best Long Drive Stretch

by neeraj matta » Mon Mar 28, 2011 7:19 pm

70 Speed @ NH7
Long ride is not only meant for Car

But,we prefer Bike because we can admire ourselves. Having a great time is not the sense of long drive but,a great drive of life.

Uppal to Shamshabad International Airport route
I will never miss a chance to drive to Shamshabad International Airport when someone is coming to or leaving from the city. I love the route to Airport via Srisailam Highway Starting at my place (near by to Uppal). As we are approaching towards the airport, greenery maintaining by GMR, Novotel Hotel in the airport premises and sorroundings - wow its an awesome place.

I have visited this place a couple of times and during the drive you feel as if you are in some nice jungle area and not in a city...the experience is great

TRIP TO NAGARJUNSAGAR
Nagarjunasagar 164KILOMETERS DRIVE Start at about 7 am to reach by 11 am with one stop for tea. Lots of towns and villages enroute so dont speed. Dont venture into waters because its infested with crocodiles. If travelling with families then Haritha Resorts is the best bet. It has a good view of the river and the rooms are spacious with swimming pool and play material for kids. The rates at Nagarjuna Resort on the other side of the Dam and Haritha Resorts or APTDC is same. Dont plan overnite stay at Ethipothala because its too remote a place with no crowd at all. Not worth it. Carry cool clothes because it gets hotter as day progresses. Carry mosquito repellents.

Shamshabad -- via-- outer ring road
The best stretch of road to go for a long drive in hyderabad is outer ring road. We can go with friends to airport by taking this route. We can have loads of fun, entertainment and i think we can enjoy the ride only if we go on different bikes instead of a car(this is not considered for lovers)......

In Hyderabad the Ring road from mehidipatnam to shamshabad air port
The ride will be very fabulous on the night of full moon day from the city to shamshabad those are very big roads with very less traffic and noise, on the way we get to vist many places and also on the way we come across many rocks that is the road laid is between the rocks and small small hills these give an experience of being in some hill station and finally we reach the world famous rajiv ghandi international airport on the way only it will be very amazing view of the airport and thats how i enjoy my long rides.

Necklace Road
A wonderful place to unwind,go for a long drive and just plain relax in Hyderabad. At night, the Necklace Road becomes a wonderful and colorful spectacle, worthy of being in a city sights magazine. The lights in nearby Hyderabad complex and the lakes of Hussain Sagar makes for what is immediately a wonderful long drive.......

a Kamat just after Chikballapur and another an hour before Hyderabad
The entire stretch was a 4 lane divided freeway, including fully ready bypasses for all the towns on the way. So, this helped it make it a very peaceful, uneventful cruise through and through. Also, the entire stretch is on the Deccan plateau, which is located between 3 mountain ranges: the Western Ghats form its western boundary, and the Eastern Ghats its eastern boundary......... its a great please to go for a long drive in hyderabad with a girl behind you ..... :-)
