Hyderabad's Water Concerns

Summer's almost here, and threatening to accompany it are the standard Hyderabadi issues with water and power. Is there something you want to tell the HMWSSB (Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board)? Post your views on our Facebook Page, and get heard by the HMWSSB!

Regulate the leakages and provide water to the needy on time....see to it that all get water in equal quantities...

I as an hyderabadi just want to request HMWSSB to provide the water to all areas of hyderabad evenly and regularly.And if one or two odd days if they fail to provide the water they should provide the information about it before one day and make some altenative arrangements.And i request then to take care about the leakage of water(if any in some ares)and repair them.

hey i would like hmwssb to stop cutting power supply..live without fans in summer is as very horrible..coming to water i have a small piece of advice plz make plans to save rain water and also drainage system should be improved in order to save water and reuse it for the people !!!

it not only the responsible of hmwssb to see whether every one is having the precious water ,its the responsible of every hyderabadi to save and consereve water so that in future there is not at all problem..,

hmwssb along with the govt should implement a law in which every new license given to a new building should have a water harvesting in there project..

if this is done then half of the problem of water will be solved.. hope govt is reading this

I think that water should be saved with mutual understanding between hyderabad citizens and HMWSSB..People should start svaeing the water by closing there taps while shaveing and brushing.And people should not save excess of water at there houses..and the government should give strict instructions to HMWSSB officers to provide water to all parts of hyderabad with out fail..and HMWSSB should take of leakage of water water pipes in the city.HMWSSB official should be sincere towards there work and should be parcial at all towards some people or region.HMWSSB officials should spontaneous inuf to solve any problem which occurs at any point of timeand the officials should be available to people at all times..........

yes the summer has almost started .. and the power cuts and water shortage is common issues in summer .. as making understand the value of water and electricity to the citizens is not possible .. it is the HMWSSB that has to take preventive measures in these kind of situations .. the citizens face problems due to the power cuts and water shortage but in this case i think the goverment scores an edge because they cut the power due to lack of water and it all depends on the rain .. and if the rain happens and water is there then the goverment will not cut the power .. so in this case the common man should wait patiently for the betterment .. but i request the MMWSSSB to please understand the problems of the citizen as the summer weather is unbearable ..
