School Curriculum - Mental Growth

by Akhilesh Lingam » Sat Mar 09, 2002 12:30 am

School kids are being burdened with excessive load of Subjects and physical weight. Teachers lacking proper knowledge/planning/skills/training/teaching approach blames the students for incompetency. Reducess there burden with more load on kids as small as 5-6yrs with home work. Is it nuacense/non-sense. While teachers are worried for there kids, not for others? Govt should reduce load, monitor teachers skills, thru training.

the curriculum and the school building plan shd be in such a way that the classwork is given maximum priority in primary level and there is less to carry in between the school and home. the class rooms shd have planned store-up almirahs/cubby holes/lockers.the olden day\'s slate shd be rejuvenated to lessen the usage of too many notebooks.
