Does anybody know if protein bars are available in Hyderabad? something high in protein and complex carbs but low in simple sugars.

* You may also try here ... For "Red Rice" ... It is not Pound / Brown Rice ... But a little quantity will improve the texture of Cooked Rice!



* You may also wish to try "B Rice" / Boiled Rice ... It looks thick and coarse, may smell while cooking but easily digestible.

I am not in Hyderabad. I just want to know if anyone has actually purchased Brown Rice in Hyderabad.



Brown Rice, by the way, is what rice is naturally before it is polished.



White rice is just brown rice without any nutritional value except carbohydrates.



People in India always ate brown rice until the last century.

We know brown rice are unprocessed rice and of it's nutritional value. Most people in Asia don't like to eat it because of it's husky texture. Usualy sick and old people eat brown rice in Asia.

***** I buy from the nearby Supermarket ... Sold in Packets labelled as "D Rice" ... From Khadi & Craft also ... "Oka Pattu" / "Once Milled" Rice from Paddyz in Dilsukhnagar / Ashoknagar ... Unfortunately, B / D raice doen't store well ... So buy in small quantities ... May be used in Idly Dough, too!
