Sringeri Vidyashankar Temple

We started from Bangalore and reached calm town of Shimoga by a slow Bangalore- Shimoga Express.

After reaching Shimoga in morning we could catch the bus to Sringeri.

Immediately after landing to Sringeri (a small Karnataka town) I jumped to the sarada Peetam, which has excellent arrangements.

Please note that Sringeri is a tourist place too



They have the decent lodging. The charges are Rs 150 for two persons.

I saw the most wonderful Vidya Shankar temple, which is unbeatable.
