your advice for newly married couple

with all the fellow hydbadis blessings , i got married recently (it was arranged)- i want to know what would be your advice for newly wed couple. women please drop your 2 cents too, please .. thanks in advance

Negotiate upon, and then finalise, a list of principles by which you will deal with each other for all married life, and which you will never violate. Examples:



1. I will try never to keep you waiting. If I am ever late after having committed a time, I will proactively apologize and give the reason.



2. If I have a problem with you, I will communicate well in time, and in detail.



3. I will not interact with members of the opposite sex in your absence for anything beyond professional reasons or being polite. If I do so, I will tell you proactively.



4. I will never lie to you, or mislead you through clever usage of words.



5. I will never break a promise, in letter or in spirit.



And such. Put them in written, and stick to them.



And be prepared for compromises in your way of life, and remember to notice and acknowledge when your spouse is doing the same.
