McLeod Ganj Little Tibet in India

For a long long time I have been thinking about a trip to this mysterious place.

This is small hill town village, where the Tibetian Bhudhist Guru was given refuge by India.

This time we could go this place in last month ( August 2007)

First we reached Pathankot.

From there Buses to Dharamshala are available. EVERY ONE HOUR.

From Dharamshala bus stand either you can catch a jeep or a minibus.



There are plenty of hotels in Mcleod ganj

The climate is lovely

100 TIMES BETTER THAN THE LOWER DHARAMSHALA

There are plenty of hotels and Bars too.

No dearth of money over there.

Plenty of craft shops.

Mostly the travellers are from Europe and USA.

Indian travellers are very less in number.

we stayed there for three days.

We could make visit to the wonderful Bagsunag temple,

The best part of the village is the GOVERNMENT OF TIBET IN EXILE.

The buildings are beutiful.



Never never miss the Main temple and Namgyal Gompha attached to it.
