Dear Neeraj - you seems to be having a real heart that really beats and feels. Your concern for this class of society is commendable. But there is one thing, increase in the wages alone does not help them get away from the dangers they are exposed to - smell, contamination, virus etc..etc.. I think this needs a little revolution in our daily lives that is - Why cant we follow the teachings of our \"Father of the Nation\" Mahatma Gandhi and start cleaning our own bathrooms and toiletries ? This way we save their lives in the long run and utilise them to do some other household jobs washing/cleaning vehicles, doors/glass panes, windows, et.etc. towards which we often dont pay much attention. Does this make sense??

dear Neeraj,I agree your point and all my respects to those gentlemen on duty. My position is that they should be provided with latest and sophosticated equipments so that they are least infected with bad gases. They should be given special previlages as specialstaff.

dear sir bapu, i do agree to your version of cleaning the own toliets etc, but these men do not clean our toilets, they are doing something more extrodinary, getting into the actul tunnel where there is the flow of yours and mine soils in huge mass... this is where his contomination starts, so he should be upgraded with good facilities.
