Water to TN

by neeraj » Fri Sep 27, 2002 3:34 pm

we all talk so much abouot national integration, unity etc,,, but satemen don\'t even want to help the need by giving some water, so much agitation... which includes film industry also,,infact film industry does not confine to one state, it is widely view by various states, may be in different languages, yet the cream goes to the orginal actor.. when this is the given sceniro, why so much hue and cry for giving some water...

If they had to ask andhra pradesh and if we had, we would be the first happiest state to provide the need with water, un disputed.........

I agree 100% that andhra pradesh is one of the pure and open hearted state in the south. but see the border state of andhra (K.......a). THEY ARE SIMPLY BEHAVING AS THIRD RATED PERSONS. If any state accepts central rule it should obey the supreme court rulings.these fellows should understand people there on both states need water.this otherwise shows the inefficiency on part of A.B.vajbay ALSO.

Tarun, Neeraj, well spoken. If a situ arises and AP ppl truly act selflessly as you say, then the world is a happy place. but ask one Q- is human nature of today so idealistic? Everyone today wants to 1st have his home and close relatives comfortable and everything else is secondary or negligible. Nothing wrong in that, thats just an example. You think the politicians of TN are fighting for water?? THe answer my friend is a simple \'No\'.
If we truly put others first, and everyone does that to some small extent, things will improve a lot. We dont have control over others, so atleast we individually should practice putting others first...

who is V I dont know? for the first time I am hearing one of the most irresponsible statement in this net fora. Recently did you read the starvation deaths in Thiruvarur district of tamilnadu in cauvery river basin? Even Pakistan is successfully sharing water and electricity with India. Karnataka is behaving worse than Pakistan.

hey common man, just listen to yourself talking and then decide who is being irresponsible.. by comparing paki to Karnataka!! I am saying that if it was any state governed by the present crop of politicians, that state would do the same as karnataka. If JJ was the cm of karnataka instead of TN, she would be doing the same things as SM Krishna... and very likely so would the people. Wake up and grow up, unfortunately we are not living in a world of philanthropists who will sacrifice water and vote bank for the sake of neighbours. Its another story what needs to be done- probably a topic for another board.
