how about banning traffic on roads?allow vehicular traffic only inside homes.

if it aint possible..it ain't the govts prob..nai?

Tea

Recently I developed some affinity towards the Irani Chai shops. Alas, taking tea after 9 o clock is not possible now a days.

Is YSR trying to develop Vizag and reduce Hyderabad b'coz when Telangana is created, YSR will have to move to Andhra where Vizag is the capital. He is opposing IMG , F1 , 9pm restrictions, and one the other hand luring investors into Vizag , offering 300 acres to a car company to invest there,etc,. Sad to see my city suffering like this :evil: . Poor Naidu , he did so much for Hyderabad but he will end up with Andhra. _ these damn politicians :x

Speaking from a strictly business point of view, does it make an iota of a difference to YSR if Hyderabadis do not vote for him? After all, I think Hyderabad only has about 5 seats in the Assembly. What makes sense for him is to appease the villagers who decide who forms the government. So, that does tell us he is a shrewd politician. And whatever people might think of Naidu, the fact remains that he did not seeing it coming. For instance, all he had to do to stop the Telangana sentiment from reaching a state as frenzied as this was to invest in the development of that area. People have very short memories and in a year or two it would all have been forgotten. So, I don't really think YSR won the elections. It is more like Naidu lost it.

Unsafe after 9PM

every one is forgetting that downing shutters by 9PM daily will result in empty unsafe streets. The concept of having nightlife is make each time of the night safe.

th govt is now saying that the Police cannot implement the order and the tea shops n whatever can continue as before. Status Quo!



YSR musta been paid off in time, which explains the sudden turn around!

shuffle in the IAS and IPS officers, shuffle in police dept and inall depts..



the new govt, newly posted police want to make money. so they will get it only if such absurd rules which were framed more than 50 years r implemented..



but few intellcutuals r still there, who r talking of amending the police act so that it will be more considerate to the canging time...

it was all about filling their coffers man.. they got the rule implemented for a few days, closed up the hotels @ 9! skimmed a few $$ n now once the public outcry became too high to just ignore they revoked the order, sayin they actually wanted to improve the night-life in the city :x dumasses :roll:

they have to fill their own cofffers which were drained due to elections and that of govt which will be drained if all the sops declated by YSR are implemented.



but the public r more smart these days and they wont allow any1 to proke in their life and spoil their fun..

even in the middle east there are exceptions like Bahrain and UAE. coffee shops in dubai are open till midnight and beyond -- there's no restriction about when they should close.
