nothing wud happen. congress is getting a developed city on a platter n wud be foolish to let the advantages slip. they wud collect money frm every possible businessmen and let all be as it is! after all they didnt have any income for 10 years...!Vinita wrote:Wonder what will happen to all the development that was happening in this city. Loved to be a part of that change... literally watching the place getting transformed.
if prophecy #1 is right (looks likely now) and if #3 has to come true then #2 is not possible. Naidu will be nowhere if that happnes and he wont allow it. BJP has to ditch TDP for KCR in that case, but that wud prove difficult since in center, BJP wud need TDP's support since TDP looks to get abt 15-18 crucial seats there.ZC wrote:1.) YSR is CM
2.) KCR leaves Congress and joins BJP+TDP
3.) Separate Telangana and KCR is CM
4.) YSR is CM of rest of AP

YSR wud ask him to f*** off n the only options for him wud be: (1) forget TRS n come back to TDP - difficult for him and (2) carry on demand for telangana till next elections, whenever they are and fight it alone - which is pointless if he wants a seperate state. (3) best of all, leave the country and join his children in USAZC wrote:1.) YSR is CM

*saddened by people's wish for mid-term polls*
Junta, the new govt. has not even been sworn in! And we are already hoping for mid-term polls? (They are called mid-term polls, BTW. By-elections are those that take place when a seat falls vacant due to death or indisposition of the sitting MLA/MP.)
Does anyone here know the actual cost of conducting elections? It runs into hundreds of crores. Besides, what is the true essence of democracy? People should be proactive and they have every right to change the govt. through constitutional means. Do we live in a theocratic state where we must have the same government year after year after year?
The congress ruled at the centre for four decades. This is what happens. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Change is inevitable and if the politicians were assured of coming back year after year, you can only imagine the state in which the country would have been. I think it is a good change. Let the new govt. come to power and take over. Only when we have seen it work can we pass an unbiased judgement on it. Give them a fair chance before writing them off. That is all.
