No favicon for fullhyderabad.com?

Its a nice favicon the mods have finally put up here

Add the http://www.fullhyderabad.com site to your favourites, and then reopen http://www.fullhyderabad.com. You should be able to see it instead of IE's default blue 'e'. But when you empty your cache, you'll see the default favicon again - its an IE bug actually. Safari works the reverse - you'll see the default 'e' favicon when the site is not added to favourites, but disappears when you add it to your favourites.

When I used FF in Hyd,i could see all the Favicon's of websites while Tabbed Browsing...Dunno if one has to change the options.

It won't be visible. When the window is minimised, you see the ugly 'e' in the taskbar. The ugly 'e' is the default desktop icon for IE, not the favicon.

Its for the whole site I guess. I can see it in all pages on the address bar, but not on the tabbed bar. Oh its showing up on the tabbed bar too for some sites.

But in the Favicon wasn't displayed for the Forum Pages,only

the Fullhyd.com pages. What's the status now?Is it visible for the

DB as well??

In IE i can see it only on the main site & not on the DB....

Is there any specific reason why this favicon is visible only at times and not everytime.



Also, I don't think it's just the browsers we use, but something else that makes it NOT appear.

At my workplace, they've blocked http://www.fullhyderabad.com on the firewall but http://www.fullhyd.com is available. It seems the mods have the favicon configured as http://www.fullhyderabad.com/favicon.ico . Hence I'm not able to see it.

I don't think the favicon is random now.... I Use Firefox and am getting it in

every page of the Forum as well as the main site....

I just realised that the problem is with IE, which is the only browser at ma workplace. But I use Firefox as well at home. It seems to be working fine on all the pages as YCR said.



And coming on to the fullhyd/fullhyderabad, I think even if we type fullhyderabad.com, it takes us to fullhyd.com and so on. So, my guess is that if ur workplace block http://www.fullhyd.com and even if it unblocks http://www.fullhyderabad.com, you may not be able to access it. <i am not sure>



As far as the favico, i don't think it's anybody else's fault but the culprit is INTERNET EXPLORER, made by Money Minded Microsoft (It's necessary that you hate them! )
