I find the whole idea of a menstruating woman not allowed in a temple bizzare. Who the hell made those ideals ? Some friends told me that when they were first introduced it was with the idea of hygiene.



In the present day world, any talk on a woman being "impure" during her periods and hence not allowed to enter a temple is plain bull crap and its annoying when ppl shove these notions down your throat.

Ok by this I get that you beleive that rules encroache upon your right to practice your relegion. You would want to visit a temple during periods, logically you should.



But



Is this injustice ? Is this a right that can be ignored, say like not going to the temple for 2 to 7 days. (given the current trends of not visiting until Diwali or Dussehra. Navratri is best celebrated in clubs), if scriptures say so, but if its being inposed by some committe then you should.

What guts muslim have to talk about equality in sexes? Islam , by root, is anti-women. can u see a hindu throwing stones on women's head and kill her just for sex? Still stone throwing and killing of women is going on in Islam ? How barbaric Islam is? what about Kuran , a satanic verses? It instructs husbands to beat their wives? How funny and barbaric to think a muslim marrying four women........ he visists his wife ( one of the wives) once in four months? Is hindusim like this?
