FH acting weird again, shifting their server for the millionth time. Anyway, Radio Mirchi is launching in Hyd on the 9th of this month. I know it is not the best radio station but hopefully other stations will follow it to Hyd. :)

Yeah,I noticed hoardings all over the place yesterday which hinted at a new radio station! So, Hydbad finally gets a much needed FM station. But like someone here just said, I hope we don't get an overdose of crappy regional music :wink:

In any case, the launch of one FM will do us good!

But Rock,Acc 2 My Sources,the Stn thatz coming is Radio City 91 FM.

Their PR Guys are swarming all over Central n Other Hangout Places.....

Taking in Public Opinions & peddling CD's also

Mirchi or Radio City...its good news for us...now we have 2 FM channels...dont forget the good ol 'Vividh Bharati'...:D



i hope they play a lot of English and Hindi music too, apart from Telugu...

From what I have heard from my friend.Radio Mirchi plays very few english songs.They play a LOT of hindi ones.

the FM auto search seems to stop at 97Mhz…. did any body else notice ? - Any way 'thinabothoo ruchi choodatamenduku'

Came to know a little while earlier that the Radio that's back is not FM but Worldspace. That too with a pittance of 35 channels. And with a monthly rental.

Yeah I was confused when you said Radio Mirchi is coming to town because those guys usually make a big deal and advertise a lot.There was nothing in TOI paper.Then I read somewhere that World Space is opening some local channels.

worldspace's been here since abt 3 yrs and i dunno why they r making a big deal abt it now....



now most of the worldspace channels are pay channels and we gotta pay an annual subscription...:(



...the worst for me is that i was hoping to listen to FM in my car, but now its impossible :cry:
