I did .net Studio from NIIT, and they were just about OK.

The management is a pain; I had to leave Hyd for a couple of months and they would not let me complete my course when I returned. Gave me the certifificate, though.

Whoever told you that NIIT or APTECH were recognised internationally? Its just a marketing gimmick by the management, to attract students. Nobody has ever heard of it outside India except a handful of (worthless) universities in the US which count your 1 or 2 year APTECH diploma as "official". Probably if you are a BSc or BCom or BA graduate, you can take a one year course in APTECH or NIIT to complete 16 years of education. Other than that, both are worthless.

Hi All,

I want to do courses related to Security and Networking (CCNA, MCSE, Cisco PIX, CEH and such).

Which are good institutes for the above courses ? My emphasis is on learning and am not keen on giving exams.

Thanks,

GA

 that wud make almost all institutes out of bounds for you. AFAIK, all the institutes train with the objective of making students clear the exams. for needs like yrs, learning on the job is the best.
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings

My kind. Well Zoom I would say.. before actually jumping to zoomm I recommend you to go to some small institutes ate ameerpet, get ur self familiarized with the platform for a month or so then go for zoom.. the lecturers are zoom are gud but dont teach right from the basics ...

I checked Zoom's site and it's pretty good. Asked them if they a 'combo' pack of MCSE + CCNA + Firewalls (PIX/Checkpoint), but they said no and instead suggested a special offer:

h*tp://www.zoomgroup.com/training/india/specialoffer.asp

But the above offer is not suiting me, as Firewalls won't be covered in depth and doing the 3 courses separately is proving bit costly.

Do any of you guys know any institute which offers MCSE + CCNA + Firewalls (PIX/Checkpoint) combo (CCNA and Firewalls is MUST) ?
