Exactly what was funny or out of place about that?

U wud know why It luks funny if u have seen driving in any other country wher u can drive at 80km/hr without expecting anybig tanker to enter laterally on the road.

I never replied to this post but today i am forced to do something which might give vent to my anger over this kind of driving.

I just managed to save myself from dashing right into a land cruiser @90kmph just becoz the car was stopped on the straight track with a green signal , and the driver wanted to take a left from that track which which was on red .

The driver somehow decided to stop and wait for the left signal to go green not at all caring abt the vehicles coming from behind at high speeds , thank god there was no car beside me , i had to cut across lanes to save myself . And i Know what the hell u have to go thru if there is even a minor kissing between cars here.

And guess what? a lady driver......................................

There shud be some way to stop women from coming on the roads.

or some other way to ensure the safety of other users.

Maybe They shud make a track with restricting wlls from both sides exclusively for use of u know who.

Or MAybe EDI, or Galadhari, or DUbai DC shud keep one instructor always with a lady driver even after getting their license. This way they wud generate employment as well ensure safety of all road users.

It's strange. I remember posting on this board and now I can't find the post.

No offence meant to the other ladies, I have female friends who are lousy drivers but I have an odd female friend who drives like a dream. And when I say that I mean, much better than some male drivers I know.

There's no running away from the fact that women do not have a reputation of being good drivers. But if you were to look at it from a case-to-case perspective, the response just might surprise you.

It all depends on how long you've been driving. Unfortunately most women don't learn driving till late (in many cases, it's after marriage, assuming the marriagable age is after 22). By then, a small accident causes a major dent (pun unintended!) on their confidence and a lot of them just give up driving.

Lack of practice is another reason. Most men drive to work but many women just hop into an auto/bus. One, because it's convenient and another reason could also be because most households have only 1 car.

If you've been riding a two wheeler for quite some time and then u graduate to a car, the transition is smooth. I speak with personal experience and at the risk of blowing my own trumpet, I drive well! :)

Peace.
