all hyderabadis...do you know old city has turned its attention to teach a lesson to two kinds of people...\"the bottu-wali\" and \"the burqua-walli\"....

It is indeed a shame on our society that we make religious symbols out of our women and target them for being so. I hope what you said is not true, and that better sense prevails in our old city.

Interesting thoughts Uzma & Lata.

People who riot, dont really differentiate between burqua or bottu.

Not sure if u r correct, but thinking of it, it may be correct.

People dont really know what and why they are doing it. They just do it for the because the rest of them are doing it.

Seems funny. But thats the way things are i guess

Here's something to think about...

If the bootu-wali become Burkha-wali.. or vice-versa will it change the anything...

People are people beyond how they dress or which God they prostrate to... Why cant we look beyond this.

BTW: There is one God; some call it Krishna, some call it. Shiva some call it Allah. Its not the IDOL or the BOOK but what it stands in representation of is what matters. Similarly... Its not the bottu or the burkha, its the beautiful person under the veil that matters...

Lets learn to respect our differences and look beyond the obvious cliched meaning of these symbols(IDOLS or the BOOK(s))!

PS: Hmmmm Uzma and Lata.. Is it like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde... split personality conflict aka Schizo. So heres the question "If I get to date Uzma does it mean I am dating Lata too".... HeeeeHeee :lol:

I guess everybody here knows the good from the bad and I won’t talk about the ONE God theory or anything else like that!

What I do want to talk about is VIOLENCE or RIOTS and how women contribute to it.

Violence or riots are the by-product of the frustration in our Indian society which is bursting at its seams to contain the over population. Over population is the factor which causes discontent where more people clamor for lesser resources and hence have to resort to injustice to claim it. The people who are left behind unjustly now have an anger and frustration building in them, which from time to time our good khadi wearing politicians exploit to create a situation called the riot, where a bunch of hooligan’s loot and pillage at will, some time under the protection of law.

So what can be done? Educate the Burkha Walis and the Bottu Walis to not create a cricket team. It looks like the women-kind brought it upon them. If they get strong and stand up and say no more cricket and football teams... That would be it. No more riots, no more violence! So in a way Uzma and Lata are responsible for the riots in Hyderabad! :wink:

How’s that for a different answer! I know I have set loose the feminist watch dogs and they must be clamoring for my blood... but this is what is interesting about FREE SPEECH.

I guess for the first time I will have women running after me... to what end! That is a minor technical detail. Let me enjoy the moment while it lasts...
