HELP ME...

HELP ME...

hi



i am an IT professional in hyderabad with abt 6yr experience. There is a prospect of a job offer in USA on a two year contract. I need advise on what i should demand as my compensation package, considering that i would be in USA for 2 years with my wife n kid and after that i might have to return to India (if my contract is not extended or i dont get a new job).



I was thinking on lines of 75-80K p.a plus necessary insurance.



Is it enuf to meet my needs to live comfortably and save a decent amt to bring back to India after 2 yrs...?



or...do i have to ask for more...?

I think the amount you are quoting depends on the state and how high up you are in the managerial level. you could be a programmer with 6 years, and prolly you may not get as much as you want.. if you're a project manager or in the upper strata, you're sure to get a lot.
