The travails in the city. Thinghs that annoy you and you have no control over it.

- Not been in HYD for a long time. Lot of things annoying. But the most was CMs entourage.

You are heading for an important presentation aur.

Punjagutta crossraods pe traffic jam hain. Police pushing some old cycle fellow out of the way.

Hat re hat maki teri.....the poor guy in his late fifties moving away with his young grandson (maybe)<--- Now what sense of security will this young fellow have?

A twenty minute wait ....then goes the pilot car...five minutes later haordes of cars swoosh past you, breaking every law...speeding....wrong way etc etc...

Get to Office 40 mins late. The whole day is screwed.

Has happened to me over 100 times.

Is it still the same with the new CM ?

This annoyance goes uncomplained................?

What appaules me most is....

That above the law treatment is not given to an Ambulance or a Fire Engine.

Kutte ...Billyon jaise jeene ke apni aadat si ho gayi.

CM gaya to ther(wait) lenge...VIP gaya to ther lenge, Ambulance ya fire engine ke liye koi Police wala road pe nahi aata, Traffic raasta bhi nahin dete.

V.I.P vehicles, police cars and ambulances need not follow any traffic rules or stop at traffic signals, they can even travel in wrong direction (only in emergencey though).

The wait time decreased during CBN's regime itself. Actually it was center's ruling that traffic shldnt be held up for more than 5 min (or is it 10?) when VVIP's convoy is passing. All vehicles that are travelling along the convoys route are allowed to pass until minutes before the convoy passes.

The Plight of The Poor Citizens Bugged By VIP Movement ...

by HH » Mon Jul 05, 2004 4:20 pm

The Plight of The Poor Citizens Bugged By VIP Movement ... Beggars Decscription! The VIPs are advised to go as "Beggars" ... At Junctions Their Population Boosts Up By the Professional Brother Beggars Already Crowding There ... Thus Their "Safe Passage" is Assured and, more, They May "Earn" Their Passage Courtesy of Some Kind-Hearted Dosts "C-A-D", "Azazel" OR "Dedh_Quintal" Who May Spare The "Beggar" VIPs a Coin Or Two.

[Babu and his Noble FiL NTR had "banned" Begging ... the Beggars then Crowded at the "Chau Rastas" / "Cross-Roads" All Over the City ... I Suspect VIP Convoys were arranged to assure their Unhindered Passage through the Beggar (not BIGGER) Junctions ... Leaving the Poor Citizents to Fend for Themselves Through the Traffic "Jams" & Beggar "Menaces" ...

VIP Treatment

by Dedh_Quintal » Tue Jul 06, 2004 6:43 am

Sub problems ka ek haal hain.

Stop VIP treatment. At times Ambulances cannot take people to hospital on time because a passing VIP has caused a Traffic Jam.

God forbid you are admitted in a hospital and a VIP is admitted....You wish you were dead.

VIP treatment should be stopped. Once out of work place (Assembly, secratriat). They should lead a normal citizens life.

-----------------In a democracy we need a classless society! Not a VIP / Upper class and the Others.-----------------

Well if its money look for a career

by Dedh_Quintal » Wed Jul 07, 2004 11:03 am

Look for a career in Banking...Finance...Research...Police...Armed Forces...Other Industries.

Call Centres are not the answer to highly efficient minds like yourselfs.

A pity IITS...IIMS....Engineers....Other Graduates, and now heard doctors are going in for Call Centers. You are restricting your development.

Grrr. A Call Center. That is what exactly what I wanna stress, one interview call and thousands of ppl lining up for the post. Ppl prepared to relocate to any part of the country for that.

Such a waste of years of education. Could be used in more resourceful ways then answering customer queries.
